When Congress returns from their extended Fourth Of July holiday weekend, the top priority will be to resume negotiations over Joe Biden’s signature “infrastructure” bill, a mammoth boondoggle that remains stalled in the Senate.
With efforts to deliver a bill to Biden’s desk ready to intensify, former President Donald J. Trump issued a harsh message to the GOP Senate, warning that RINO Republicans should “stop negotiating the infrastructure deal – you are just being played by the Radical Left Democrats – they will give you nothing!”
Earlier this week, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell vowed that Republicans would put up a ‘hell of a fight’, pointing out that the Democrats could move the bill through without any GOP support, a prospect that the Dems’ progressive activist base has been clamoring for.
Ordinarily, a completely partisan cramdown of such a staggeringly costly package with far-reaching social engineering ramifications would be dangerous politically, but thanks to a gaggle of RINOs led by the treacherous twosome of failed presidential candidate Mitt Romney and Susan Collins of Maine, Biden and the Democrats were given the gift of the fig-leaf of bipartisanship by the grandstanding senators.
While some on the GOP side of the aisle were opposed to such an effort by Romney and his gang, the RINOs consummated their deal with the devil only to see the nation’s 46th president immediately doublecross them by threatening to veto any bill that didn’t include the left’s Green New Deal giveaways.
Biden quickly went into damage control, saying that he didn’t really mean what he said and it was enough for the RINOS who are desperate to spare their wealthy donors from tax increases and negotiations continued with another betrayal in the offing, at least that’s what Trump believes.

According to the ex-POTUS; “Very important that Senate Republicans not allow our hard-earned tax reductions to be terminated or amended in an upward trajectory in any way, shape, or form,” he said. “They should not be making deals on increasing taxes for the fake infrastructure proposals being put forward by Democrats, almost all of which goes to the ridiculous Green New Deal Marxist agenda.”
He continued; “Keep the Trump Administrations tax cuts just where they are,” he added. “Do not allow tax increases. Thinking about it, I have never seen anything so easy to win politically.”
“Also, RINO Republicans should stop negotiating the infrastructure deal—you are just being played by the Radical Left Democrats—they will give you nothing!” Trump said.
Trump previously blasted Romney and the RINOs for their sucking up to Biden; “So sad to see certain RINO Republican Senators go back and forth to the White House and continually get nothing for infrastructure or anything else,” he said in a statement; “When will they learn that they are being played with, and used by, the Radical Left — and only bad things can happen. Should have never lost the Senate in the first place, thanks Mitch! New leadership is needed, and fast!”
Thanks to the RINOs, Biden, and the Democrats now have the necessary political cover to say that they tried to work out a deal and then pass their entire package on a 50-50 party-line vote with Kamala Harris being the tiebreaker.
